Janet LaDean Trotter, 45 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 in Fayetteville. She was born August 4, 1965 in Siloam Springs, AR to Buddy and Betty R. (Davis) Breedlove. She was a teacher for West Fork Middle School, a member of Arkansas Teacher’s Association, and a Christian. Mama Janet made friends everywhere she went and touched many people’s lives with her happy and selfless personality. She has spent the last 21 years loving and inspiring her students in Fort Smith and West Fork Public Schools. Janet’s choice to be an organ donor will have a positive effect on many lives for years to come.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Dane Trotter; her mother, Betty Breedlove Wilson and husband Garland of Powderly, TX; one daughter, Brittany Geheb and husband Anthony of Lavaca, AR; one brother, Alan Breedlove and wife Karen of Fayetteville, AR; two sisters, Sharon Masters and husband Kenneth of Gentry, AR, Karon Jones and husband Terry Don of North Richland Hills, TX; three grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, L.L. (Bud) Breedlove; her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. John Breedlove, all of Siloam Springs, AR.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 7th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday July 8th at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, AR with Reverend Scott Miller officiating. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend both services.
Memorial contributions may be made to West Fork Middle School.
