Lake Fort Smith State Park Presents Beginner Video Editing Workshop
Mountainburg, Arkansas – Lake Fort Smith State Park will present a video editing workshop for beginners at the Lake Fort Smith State Park visitor center, 15458 Shepherd Springs Road, Mountainburg, AR on Saturday December 1st from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $25.
In this workshop participants learn to import photos and video into editing software, sequence and edit video, add transitions, special effects, music, create DVD menus, and burn DVDs of the finished product.
“It is really a lot easier to do than most people think,” says Joe Hamilton, park interpreter and workshop leader. “This is an opportunity for people to learn to turn their videos and photos into timeless treasures that can be shared for generations.”
Students need the following: laptop with a video editing application such as Windows Movie Maker or Corel Video Studio, video or still camera containing previously captured footage and necessary cables, mp3 music files suitable for background music, a blank writable DVD, and a sack lunch.
