Shiloh Museum December Events & Meetings

Holiday Concert  Students from the Will Bush Violin Studio will present a concert of holiday music Saturday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. The students, who range in age from three years old to adults, will perform Christmas hymns and carols, fiddle tunes, and classical music of the season on violin, viola, cello, and guitar. The Shiloh Museum is located at 118 W.  Call for Collectors   The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History is looking for collectors to display items from their collections during the museum’s annual “Cabin Fever Reliever” open house, Saturday, January 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more information, contact the museum at 750-8165, or email shiloh@springdalear.gov.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

Poetry Group   Poets Northwest, a group for people interested in writing and sharing original poetry, will meet Saturday, December 1 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. The museum is located at 118 W. Johnson Avenue in downtown Springdale. For more information, call 756-5405.

 Writing Group   LifeWriters, a group for people interested in writing the stories of their own lives or those of family and friends, will meet Monday, December 3 and Monday, December 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. Herb Society of Northwest Arkansas  The Herb Society of Northwest Arkansas will meet Thursday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. The museum is located at 118 W. Johnson Avenue in downtown Springdale. For more information, call Marci Vaughn at 770-6080.

Sacred Harp Singers The Northwest Arkansas Sacred Harp Singers will meet Sunday, December 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. The museum is located at 118 W. Johnson in downtown Springdale. For more information, call 750-8165.
