    A little rain didn’t stop those attending the 29th annual Winfest on Sept. 17. Although the crowd was a bit thinner because of the weather, you never heard anyone complain: in fact, the occasional downpour throughout the day seemed to brighten the experiences of those at the event. Kids frolicked, bands played and everyone seemed to have a great time.

    A former law enforcement officer pitched his services to the Winslow City Council in their regularly scheduled meeting and plans are well underway to restore the bridge at the Winslow Ball Park that was destroyed in spring flooding.
