Advertising in the Washington County Observer is a great way to build your business with residents of south Washington County. We have a simple business model: provide in-depth local news coverage to Greenland, West Fork and Winslow. It’s news that our readers can’t get anywhere else. We have local writers; and most everything in our paper is original material.
Our paper launched February 2, 2010 and as of June, 2010, we are selling about 800 papers a week. Our goal is to have 1000 subscribers by October of this year and we’re well on-track to get there. We provide a unique way to get into homes that are difficult to reach with broad-stroke media.
Our 52-week advertising rate is the most competitive in Washington County. Our paper is published every Thursday. Deadline for advertising is on Fridays before the following week’s issue. Art is due on Mondays. We do accept inserts. Our column inches measure two-inches in width.
