Staff Report COUNTY- School’s out and the endless days of summer now stretch ahead of kids happy to be out of school and parents who may be wondering how to fill some of those summer hours. For the artist, reader or outdoor explorer, south Washington County serves up three ways to add summer fun without a lot of expense. Summer Art Camp Ozark Folkways will hold its sixth annual week-long art camp, June 13-17, for ages 8-14. Budding artists will have the chance to create a wide range of art projects and showcase them in their own art show and reception on the last day of camp. The camp, which is sponsored by the Art Center of Van Buren is one of the best values going at just $10. This year’s theme, as in past years, coordinates with the Washington County Library System’s theme, “One World, Many Stories.” Participants will create art, read folktales and listen to music from around the world.
