    Staff Report FAYETTEVILLE- Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) representatives will open a temporary office in Fayetteville to help answer questions and file claims for individuals who suffered property damage or loss during recent flooding. Funding for Individual Assistance for Washington County residents was approved for federal disaster relief on May 7. Anyone with property damage or loss that is not covered by insurance may be eligible for federal monies. Julie Bradford, a FEMA representative, said money is available for flood-related expenses including home repairs and temporary housing as well as medical costs, clothing, household items, tools and clean-up. More than $9.6 million has been approved to help Arkansans. FEMA will also consider claims for damages to private roads and bridges washed-out by flooding. Bradford said if your home was inaccessible after flooding or that emergency services could not make it to your home, you may be eligible for FEMA assistance. If the private road is shared by multiple homeowners, all of the homeowners would need to apply. The office will be open May 26 and June 6-9 from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. The office is located at the Operations and Maintenance Building at 2615 Brink Drive in Fayetteville.
